Opinion: Around the Fur is Deftones's best album. The perfect mix of the aggression found on Adrenaline combined with the more melodic direction the band took on White Pony. The guitar was heavy and abrasive while at the same time being groovy due to the non-metal playing styles of Abe and Chi. The production was amazing and the emotions.

The two albums are totally different so you can't see many similarities between them. Around the Fur have two less-than-heavy tracks while White Pony consisted of those types of songs.
